At the ATOMEXPO 2017 forum will be discussed trends of the world nuclear energy further development

Media accreditation for the IX International Forum ATOMEXPO 2017 to be held from 19 to 21 June in Moscow, Gostiny Dvor (4 Ilyinka St., metro stations Ploshchad revolyutsii and Kitay-gorod) continues.

Forum is organized by ROSATOM State Corporation on an annual basis and proved itself as the largest international exhibition and business platform to discuss the current situation of the nuclear industry and shape its further development. This year the main topic of the forum is Nuclear technology - safety, ecology, stability.

The Forum will offer a wide business program. Plenary session Atom as a basis for zero carbon energy future (19 June) will be the main event where the heads of Russian and foreign departments, companies, international organizations and leading experts will discuss contemporary challenges met by the world power market, a role of nuclear generation as a reliable, economically predicted and environmentally friendly energy source.

The Forum includes round tables on: «Innovative technological solutions in the nuclear energy life cycle as a condition of sustainable development»; «Future investments: choosing the best (includes two parts - «NPP construction projects» and «Wind power»)»; «3D printing is an innovative instrument for nuclear energy development»; «Human capital creation for the nuclear industry sustainable development»; «Nuclear industry ecological safety : strategy, regulation, technology»; «Clean water as one of the key factors for the ecological sustainability: desalination, water preparation, water treatment»; «Humanitarian assistance of the economic integration in the context of NPP construction project: cost efficiency, public acceptance assurance», etc. A separate track of the business program will be dedicated to the digital future. Experts will discuss the role of digital technologies in ensuring the competitiveness of nuclear energy, evaluate IT platforms and consider best practices in the introduction of digital technologies. Apart from business program ATOMEXPO 2017 will host a specialized exhibition with participation of more than 90 leading international enterprises of the global nuclear power industry and related branches. Hi-tech solutions and products of the nuclear power industry will be exhibited at the expositions. The Russian nuclear industry will be presented by over 40 companies of ROSATOM State Corporation, including Rosenergoatom Concern, TVEL Fuel Company of Rosatom, Atomenergomash group, JSC Atomstroyexport, Rusatom Automated Control Systems (RASU), ARMZ Uranium Holding, Mayak Production Association, Mining and Chemical Plant, TENEX, Rusatom Overseas Inc., Public Company «Rusatom Healthcare». The leading world companies including the French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission, Rolls-Royce (Great Britain), China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC, China), National Atomic Company KAZATOMPROM (Kazakhstan), AREVA NP and Schneider Electric (France), L-3 MAPPS (Canada), TAIM WESER (Spain), Fortum (Finland), as well as companies from the Republic of Korea, Turkey, Slovakia, Italy and other countries will be also among the exhibitors. Exhibition stands of Rosatom companies will be filled with interactive content. For the presentation of new projects and products, the technologies of augmented reality will be used, as well as multimedia mock-ups.

June 21, the third day of the forum «ATOMEXPO 2017», is declared a Youth Day, within which special events for students and schoolchildren will be held. The central event will be the Super Final of the VII Tournament of Young Professionals «TeMP»-2017 – one of the largest events to attract talented young people to the nuclear industry.
